Krampus - 2025 Inge-glas Ornament
Here Comes Santa
Krampus is a half-goat, half-demon figure from European
folklore, dating back to the 12th century. He's particularly
popular in Austria and Germany, who associated Krampus with the
Christmas season as he punishes naughty children. He's often
paired with Saint Nicholas, who rewards good children, and the
two arrive on Krampusnacht (December 5th).
Although there have been religious opposition to this figure,
one should understand the significance of this creature - It
all relates to: Heaven or Hell, Good and Evil, Reward or
Punishment. I am sure that any collegiate course on Religious
Studies would include this fellow...
