Christmas Legends Series
In this section you'll find many of the currently available Santa nutcrackers created
by Christian Steinbach, GmbH, for the Christmas Legends Series, a Kurt Adler
exclusive, with the first Father Christmas, S645 introduced in 1994.
Each year the Steinbach firm adds another time period, country or culture to this
wonderful collection of Santa nutcrackers. We've seen Saint Nicholas, Père Noël,
Grandfather Frost and for 2021, the New Steinbach firm introduces a handsome
Scottish Santa, the 28th nutcracker in this popular series.

Arctic Tundra Santa
Steinbach Legends - 2026
"Christmas Legends" Series
This richly clad Arctic Tundra Santa is dressed in rich browns with
blue, red and white bunad embroidery or folklore ribbon (jacquard).
These trims, featuring geometric or floral patterns, are often used to
decorate Norwegian bunad costumes, Swedish, and Nordic folk
garments with edging embroidered trim.
He announces his arrival with a bag full of goodies at his feet and a
tall, White Snowflake staff.
He becomes the 33rd Santa in the Christmas Legends series that
started back in 1993 - perhaps the longest running series of nutcrackers.
This series first began showcasing period styled Santa's and then
transitioned into unique perceptions of Saint Nicholas as seen from
around the world!

This richly clad North Pole Santa is dressed in a traditional
Red velvety coat, with White Fur edging and Gold embroidered
trim. He announces his arrival with a ringing bell in his hand
along with a sack full of toys at his feet.
This North Pole Santa is the 32nd Santa in the Christmas Legends
series that started back in 1993 - one of the longest running
series of nutcrackers.
