This was the premier nutcracker created exclusively for the
Christian Ulbricht Collectors' Club in 1998.
Each member received an annual subscription to The Treasure
Chest a semi-annual newsletter, along with a small Lantern Child
Smoker and a collector's binder to keep newsletter and catalogs.
Each member also had the privilege of purchasing the annual club
nutcracker created exclusively for members. This was that inaugural
release, the Snow King.

Teddy Bear Maker
Steiff - Ulbricht Joint Issue
This was the premier nutcracker created as a joint
venture between these two respected German firms,
Christian Ulbricht and Steiff.
Ulbricht has since produced a nutcracker holding a
Steiff bear at least four times with a Santa and Teddy
Roosevelt, but this Teddy Bear maker was the first
design showcasing the works of these firms.
