These Classic nutcrackers from the Ulbricht factories located in Seiffen and Lauingen, Germany represent the more traditional wooden nutcracker as it first appeared in the Erzgebirge region. They carry that staunch and upright posture. Each turned wood figure was typically fashioned into a figure of authority. Kings, Guards, Princes and Soldiers were most commonly depicted.
