Gunther Ulbricht Nutcracker Signing Friday Nov 13th 20093:00pm to 8:00pm
For the Thirteenth consecutive year, The Frame Workshop will be honored to host a visit by a family member of the respected German nutcracker maker, Holzkunst Christian Ulbricht.
We welcome Gunther Ulbricht, on his sixth visit during our annual Christmas Open House. We are fortunate as The Frame Workshop is only one of a handful of stops across the United States part of the 2009 Ulbricht U.S. tour.

Gunther, who with his sister, Ines, represents the third generation of this well known firm based in Bavaria and the Erzgebirge.
Gunther has inherited great creative ability. Many of the most artistic of the nutcrackers produced today bear his designs. In his private time he is a fine artist, painting both portraits and landscapes.

The tradition of an annual "tour bird" continues in 2009 with this wonderful version of our National Bird, the Bald Eagle.
Pictured to the right is the 2009 Eagle. This limited edition nutcracker measures 5-3/8 inches and is available only through retail dealers that host an artist visit and signing event.
The Bald Eagle is the 13th in a series of tour birds that began with "The Woodpecker" in 1996.

| Gunther's has toured the United States on numerous occasions, and will make his sixth return appearance to The Frame Workshop in Appleton. This will be our first Christmas Open House event in our new location at 430 E Northland Avenue - Memorial Square!
