"Nine Ladies Dancing"
This musical nutcracker becomes the sixth nutcracker in this highly
prized collection of Steinbach nutcrackers introduced in 2009.
Elegantly robbed in dark green and edged in brown fur, this Santa
carries a music box with a dancing maid atop which is activated
as the mechanism plays. The "Twelve Days Of Christmas" song
continues in this newest addition to this Steinbach
series of nutcrackers.

August the Strong - Steinbach
Saxon Coffee King
The Saxony King, "August The Strong" was
perhaps the first collector in Germany.
He was inspired from China porcelain and he
collected Dollhouses with gemstones - all
in miniature. An alchemist promised to make
gold and August the Strong gave him the
order to make gold. What he produced
instead was the famous "white gold" - the
porcelain.
At first they used it to drink Chocolate,
but Coffee followed and in Saxony ever
since ever then more then anywhere in
Germany. They preferred that it was not
brewed very strong and on the inside of the
cup there were flowers painted so you could
see the flowers thru the coffee - this is
where the name "Blümchenkaffee" originates.
One may visit this old collection in
the "Grüne Gewölbe" in Dresden -
unbelievable. In Meissen exists still to
this day, the manufacturer, now owned by
the government.

"International Snowman" Series
This snowman for 2016 is decked out in all that is German,
wearing the garb of Saint Nikolaus, but presenting us with
a small nutcracker in one hand and a Black Forest Cuckoo
Clock in the other!
The fun and playful series began in 2015 with a chubby
Winter Frost snowman nutcracker before donning the costumes
of other countries.

"Santa Comes Around" Series
This Steinbach Santa moves through the Old World in search of
the best partners. Thus a visit to the toy village of Seiffen
is therefore just the place to start... Because it's always
Christmas season there!
This Santa from Steinbach has made his first partnership with another
well know craftsman from the Erzgebirge region, Richard
Glässer. In cooperation with this respected wood working
firm, Steinbach has managed to combine the carefully selected details
of two traditional companies from the Ore Mountains.
Please note the carefully three selected accessories from Richard
Glässer. The Santa was made by Steinbach himself while at his
feet sits the well-known Seiffen octagonal church as a small
pyramid. An ornament "Angel in the Star" is hanging from his
left hand, while a mini smoker is held in his right hand.
