The Frame Workshop is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a return visit to Wisconsin by Dipl.-Ing. Karla Steinbach of the respected German nutcracker maker, Steinbach GmbH in December 2009.
Karla, daughter of the late Christian Steinbach makes her second visit to Appleton as part of her United States tour in 2009.

The name Steinbach is recognized all over the world for the unique design of their wood carved Steinbach Nutcracker masterpieces.
Begun many years ago by Herr Christian Steinbach (the King of Steinbach Nutcrackers) the tradition of creating fine, hand-carved Steinbach German Nutcrackers is being continued Today by Karla Steinbach.
Karla is a 6th generation Steinbach family member to carry on the reigns of this 200 year old tradition of creating beautiful nutcrackers and other turned wooden items and collectibles.

The Steinbach firm produced a special nutcracker in honor of Karla's 50th Birthday in 2008. Pictured to the right, this signed nutcracker is available only at retail shops where Karla visits. It features a likeness of Karla as the "Steinbach Nutcracker Queen".
This 17 inch nutcracker can be ordered at any time. This unusual nutcracker is a must for any serious Steinbach collector.
