Christian Ulbricht smokers or Räuchermänner are produced at both their Seiffen
factory in the Erzgebirge region of Germany in the state of Saxony, and also at
their Lauingen factory in Bavaria.
Below you'll find smokers or smoking men as small as five inches, some that
make wonderful centerpieces and others that are entirely natural in finish
and traditional in appearance. They all are made to the exacting quality from
the firm Holzkunst Christian Ulbricht

This tall classic smoking man is a Tõpfermeister, or Master Potter
in English. He has mastered the art of turning earthen clay into
useful and artistic ware. These trades are still honored in many
parts of the world and should not be lost to us.
This slightly hunched smoker shape was originally produced in the
Seiffener NussknackerHaus factory in the Erzgebirge where
the Ulbricht firm first began.

Classic Schwibbogen Maker
2025 Ulbricht Smoker
This tall classic maker of Candle Arches, or Schwibbogen honors the original
workers of the Erzgebirge region. These arches of light that sit in the
windows of homes and restaurants today were styled after the arch at the
entrance to the mines. When miners in this region departed their jobs, they
would hang their lanterns upon this arch.
This slightly hunched smoker shape was originally produced in the
