"Santa Comes Around" Series
This limited edition series of Steinbach nutcrackers was launched in 2015
and is one of the first completely new series under the direction of the NEW
Steinbach firm...
This series has Santa journeying around Germany and joining forces with other well
known manufactures producing "joint issues" that reflect the craftsmanship of
both firms... These include Richard Glässer, Gahlenz, Steiff and one of the Black
Forest Cuckoo clock manufacturers.

The First 4 in the Series

in 2025 which we will stock next year.
"SANTA COMES AROUND - Part I, II, III and IV" are the first 4 limited
edition nutcrackers from the "SANTA COMES AROUND" series and impress
with there detailed implementation, extremely high-quality workmanship
and carefully selected accessories. Each Santa was made by Steinbach
himself and is framed by other well-known German hand-crafted products
related to Christmas.

Santa Comes Around Part IV
Steinbach + Engstler
As Santa continues his festive adventure through Germany, he now
finds himself trekking through the mysterious and magical Black
Forest. Surrounded by towering pines and a crisp winter chill, he
stumbles upon a hidden gem of regional craftsmanship: the renowned
Engstler Cuckoo Clock Manufacturer, which has been producing
traditional Black Forest clocks since 1952.
Captivated by the intricate artistry of these timeless pieces,
Santa learns that Engstler combines age-old craftsmanship with
modern innovation. Each clock is handcrafted with meticulous
attention to detail, using traditional methods passed down through
generations. From the enchanting sound of the cuckoo to the
delicate wood carvings, Engstler’s clocks are known worldwide for
their quality and authenticity. Santa is so enchanted that he
brings back one of these functional, battery-operated clocks—a
small piece of the Black Forest tradition to share with others.
With the sound of the cuckoo echoing through the forest, Santa

Santa Comes Around Part III
Steinbach + Steiff
Our Steinbach Santa moves through the Old World in search of new
friends and treasures in German craftsmanship. On one of his trips he
saw that the door to the Steiff manufactory was slightly ajar and
couldn't resist having a peek inside! Sneaking along the manufactory
floor he sees how the beloved plush toys are created. Knowing all
kinds of toys and having gifted them too, our Santa of course has
already heard of this famous company and with his visit has now made
his third friendship.
In cooperation with the traditional company from Baden-Wuerttemberg
in Germany "Margarete Steiff GmbH", we have combined the carefully
selected artworks of two traditional companies from Germany.
"SANTA COMES AROUND - Part 3" is the third item of the "SANTA COMES
AROUND" series and impresses with its detailed implementation,
extremely high-quality workmanship and carefully selected
accessories. While Santa, dressed in an immaculately fashionable
outfit, was made by Steinbach himself, he has a beautiful Teddy bear
made by Steiff in his gift bag.

Steinbach + Gahlenz
"Santa Comes Around" Series
This Steinbach Santa moves through the Old World in search of
new friends and treasures in German craftsmanship. On one of
his strolls through the beautiful winter forests he sees a merry
bunch of snowmen playing and having fun in the snow! It was here
that he met the traditional manufacture of Holzkunst
Gahlenz, and thus, Santa has made his second friendship.
In cooperation with a traditional company from the Erzgebirge
region in Germany "Raum- und Tafelschmuck Gahlenz GmbH",
Steinbach has combined the carefully selected art figures of two
traditional companies from the Ore Mountains.
This Santa and the little Snowman on his arm were made by
Steinbach themselves and is surrounded by a group of winter fun
loving little snowmen created by our friends from "Holzkunst
Gahlenz".

The origins of the Holzkunst Gahlenz company go back to 1928.
Today Holzkunst Gahlenz offers almost the entire range of folk
art from the Ore Mountains - from the smoker to the nutcracker
to the candle arch, everything is produced in their workshops.

"Santa Comes Around" Series
This Steinbach Santa moves through the Old World in search of
the best partners. Thus a visit to the toy village of Seiffen
is therefore just the thing. Because it's always Christmas
season there! Impressed by the varied cultural offer, our Santa
has made his first partnership with another well know craftsman
from the Erzgebirge region, Richard Glässer.
In cooperation with this respected wood working firm, Steinbach
has managed to combine the carefully selected details of two
traditional companies from the Ore Mountains.
Please note the carefully three selected accessories from Richard
Glässer. The Santa was made by Steinbach himself while at his
feet sits the well-known Seiffen octagonal church as a small
pyramid. An ornament "Angel in the Star" is hanging from his
left hand, while a mini smoker is held in his right hand.
