Steinbach + Steiff
This Steinbach Santa moves through the Old World in search of new
friends and treasures in German craftsmanship. On one of his trips he
saw that the door to the Steiff manufactory was slightly ajar and
couldn't resist having a peek inside! Sneaking along the manufactory
floor he sees how the beloved plush toys are created. Knowing all
kinds of toys and having gifted them too, our Santa of course has
already heard of this famous company and with his visit has now made
his third friendship.
In cooperation with this very well known company from Baden-Wuerttemberg
in Germany "Margarete Steiff GmbH", once again a cooperative venture
has emerged from the selected artistic skills of German firms.
"SANTA COMES AROUND - Part 3" is the third item of this series and
impresses with its detailed implementation, extremely high-quality
workmanship and carefully selected accessories.

The fun and playful series began in 2015 with a chubby
Winter Frost snowman nutcracker before donning the costumes
of other countries.

From Christian Steinbach's "Chubby"
series of nutcrackers, is a 2014 design
featuring this well known character from
English folklore and enemy to Robin Hood.
The Sheriff of Nottingham is an
important figure in the legend of Robin
Hood. The holder of the office of
Nottingham's Sheriff, it is his task to
capture outlaws such as Robin Hood, either
to ensure the safety of trade routes
through Sherwood Forest, or to keep them
from poaching the King's deer.
The Chubby series continues to be very
popular, and the rich colors and detail on
this classic figure are wonderful.

Attention to detail is a trade mark of every Ulbricht
nutcracker that originated with Otto Ulbricht in the
Erzgebirge in 1928. A glazed finish reveals rich wood tones
in this nutcracker, reflecting the origins of it's hand
crafted beginnings.
