Sarah Ranes prepares the outside covering of Frosty's head Our third year dictated that we create a new design: "Frosty the Snowman". However, we learned that three weeks out was just not enough time to begin with a new creation! A 63 inch diameter framework is the start to Frosty's construction
Above: Sarah applies layers of paper mache to Frosty's real head.

Below: Frosty's wood torso had a motor within that would turn him side-to-side. Seen Below with a temporary cardboard head.
A motor inside of Frosty is what makes him turn from side to side Time ran out and we were forced to cancel our appearance in the TDS Metrocom parade in Green Bay.

Although 95% complete, we participated in the Appleton Parade with wet paint, and 'The Broomstick" left behind! - Folks attending the Little Chute and Kaukauna Parades got to see the completed float.... complete with Frosty's forest friends
