Handcrafted in Germany since 1928, the current Ulbricht family produces many
wood turned collectibles. In addition to Nutcrackers and Smokers, delicate
little wooden ornaments are created at the factory in Seiffen managed by Ines
Ulbricht. She carries on this family business from the factory that her grandfather,
Otto first operated in the heart of the Erzgebirge.

Advent Window Arch
Ulbricht Ornament
This Advent window shows the shutters flung wide open with lace
in the window. Displayed in the window is a traditional
Erzgebirge candle arch with bells hanging below the flower box.
It is the shape of the curved Schwibbogen that has historical
reference to the curved arch at the Ore Miner's entrance-exit -
this is where they would hang their lanterns when a day's work
was completed...
