Original Viennese Snow Globes - Made in Austria since 1900
It was Erwin Perzy I, who created the very first snowglobe in 1900. He lived in a house
not too far from Schönbrunn where the beauty of Vienna brought forth his first design,
the Basilica of Maria Zell, which contained snow made from ground rice.
Today this third generation business is carried on by Erwin Perzy III - producer of
The Original Viennese Snowglobe.
These standard sized Snow Globes are about 5 inches in height with a 3-1/8 inch
diameter Globe - 80mm. We also stock a good selection of smaller sized
Small - 45mm Vienna Snow Globes and Large - 120mm Vienna Snow Globes
Warning - During the Winter, we cannot ship these unless we see two consecutive
days of non-freezing weather! (Obviously, the water inside will FREEZE!) We will process & hold!
(*Please note that some may have or will develop small air bubbles over time!)
