Franz Karl has produced traditional smokers and other wooden crafts in the Ore Mountain
region of Saxony since 1932. It is within these mining hills that the craft of turning wood
into little figures that would burn incense first began. These Räuchermännchen have
been created in the Erzgebirge since 1856.
On this page, you'll find Die Kleinen Pfeifenraucher, or "Small Pipe Smokers"
made in Venusberg, Saxony by the respected firm, Franz Karl GmbH.
