Angel w/ Cello Sitting
Grünhainichen Musical
One of a Kind. With a shape, expression of
form and charm all their own: The enchanting
Grünhainichen Angels from the Wendt & Kühn
Workshops. Each with eleven white dots on
their little green wings their famous
trademark the world over.
This Grünhainichen Angel plays a Shawm, a
Medieval reed instrument. The shawm was the
most important double reed instrument of the
Middle Ages and Renaissance. The shrill
piercing tone of the medieval shawm made it
suitable for use outdoors. It is still found
in Asian and European folk cultures today.

Here we have a shepherd or farmer working
with a pair of Oxen in the fields. It is
common for many people in the Spanish and
Mediterranean region to go beyond displaying
not only the Nativity at Christmas but
rather
creating a vignette of the entire town of
Bethlehem.
This item includes the Shepherd, Donkey and
Threshing Stones.
Made in Spain by Belenes Puig.

on the base of each pyramid. They have been redesigned with small
