This is a newly designed Nativity, the
Leonardo series introduced in 2005. All of
the Dofi figures are carved in
Urtijëi (also known as Ortisei or St.
Ulrich) in South Tyrol, Italy.

Angel w/ Flute - Sitting
W&K Musical Angel
One of a Kind. With a shape, expression of
form and charm all their own: The enchanting
Grünhainichen Angels from the Wendt & Kühn
Workshops. Each with eleven white dots on
their little green wings their famous
trademark the world over.
This Grünhainichen Angel plays a Shawm, a
Medieval reed instrument. The shawm was the
most important double reed instrument of the
Middle Ages and Renaissance. The shrill
piercing tone of the medieval shawm made it
suitable for use outdoors. It is still found
in Asian and European folk cultures today.
