In the Erzgebirge region of Saxony, it is typically for
families to burn these candle arches or schwibbogen on their
tables and windows sills during the holidays. Many folks
burn them all year long.
A traditional hand crafted folk art from the Ore Mountains,
this design was one of the earliest produced in about 1980
and includes both Miner, Angel and a Little Rider horseman,
from the Ore Mountain region.
