Here we have a shepherd or towns person coaxing a stubborn donkey 
to move along with his load of produce.  It is common for many 
people in the Spanish and Mediterranean region to go beyond 
displaying not only the Nativity at Christmas but rather creating 
a vignette of the entire town of Bethlehem.
