Over the years KWO has grown into one of the leading manufactures of
traditional hand made wooden art such as Smokers, Nutcrackers,
Music-Boxes, and Christmas Pyramids. They are all crafted in the rich
heritage which developed over centuries in the Erzgebirge - the Ore
Mountains of former East Germany.
From the KWO workshop in Olbernhau, this craftsmanship continues
today and incorporates more than 140 artisans. On the pages below,
you will find a selection of their delightful smokers often refered to as
smoking men, or as known in German, Rächermännchen.
