Based in Vermont and initially inspired by the glorious seasons of New England,
CoolSnowGlobes has grown into the foremost designer and maker of hand-painted,
heirloom-quality snow globes in the world. These unique snow globes are created
with immaculate artistic precision, and attention to the tiniest details.
CoolSnowGlobes inspire thought provoking imagination in a 360-degree lens.
We have carried these in our shop for a number of years...
These unique snow globes are beautifully crafted with glass domes and seated on
either piano black or pearl white bases. Dimensions are about 5 inches in height
with a 4 inch diameter Globe - 100mm.
Warning - During the Winter, we cannot ship these unless we see two consecutive
days of non-freezing weather! (Obviously, the water inside will FREEZE!)
We will process & hold for warmer weather...

Koi have often been called “swimming jewels.” They are symbols of
friendship, love and peace. “Because of their size and ability to
live a long life, they have also become a symbol of good luck and health.
They can live between 25-50 years on average though there are reports
of them living to 100-200 years. The oldest KOI ever documented lived
to be 226 years old. We love them because they are exquisite creatures
who inspire peace and calm.

Wave
CoolSnowGlobe
Created for an exhibition about the Japanese artist Hokusai - we modeled
the wave on his most well known print. Using a new painting technique we
devised a way to see deep into the crystal wave to the deep ocean colors
below. The coastline binds together the steadfast strength of the land
with the awesome power of the ocean.
And waves are the result. They build slowly from within, shaped by the
ocean floor and the gathering strength of the sea. Their crescendo is
a beautiful moment of power unleashed. Blues and greens intermingle, .
the foam churns white, and the spectacular cycle begins again.
