With his leggings, lederhosen, and his fun Bavarian party 
hat, this fellow is typical of the classic and traditional 
designs produced by this respected firm, KWO. 

Small in stature, but loaded with detail, this nutcracker 
is made from all wood and natural components, true to it's 
historical predecessors from the Erzgebirge region of 
Germany.

His large "Gingerbread" Banner reads, "O'Azaptf Is" or "Angezapft 
ist es" The word "anzapfen" indicates a tap with a wooden hammer 
with which a barrel of beer is opened. This phrase, in Munich or 
Bavaria, is a kind of magic word meaning: time to party, which 
starts the dancing! After all, Octoberfest was originally a 
Wedding Celebration.
