The Black Forest, famous for Cuckoo clocks and rugged beauty is 
not part of the largest German state Bavaria.  Nor is it home to 
the other wood crafted items like nutcrackers, smokers and candle 
pyramids.

It is rather in the southwestern part of the country and it is the 
wooded mountain range within the state of Baden-Württemberg.
