Expert Advice
Q. I was wondering if the charlie harper limited edition serigraph that you are showing called COOL CARNIVORE is signed and numbered. The selling price is $ 90.00. Also if it is signed and numbered, what number out of 25oo is it?

A. With rare exception, All of Charley Harper's serigrahs are signed by the artist.

The number within an edition has NO Value on the art, for example if I own number 1/1500 versus 1036/1500, the value of the art is determined by the popularity of the artist, the popularity of the image, the size of the edition itself (1500) and the condition of the artwork.

Q. I recently purchased a Charley Harper serigraph. The title is "Ladybug Lovers", it is signed, dated, and framed. The frame is metal with a cute little poem pertaining to the ladybugs on the back (which is cardboard.) Can you advise whether I should have it reframed? Also, what it might be valued?
