Q. I have a large grouse strumming picture by Owen Gromme and it is not a copy but one of the series if that makes any sense but I am trying to find out how much it is worth and what would be the best way about selling it. (It is beautifully framed and matted) Thanks for your time!

A. Morgan,

Thanks for writing. We do not handle a great deal of "wildlife" art anymore as we once did in the 1980's. The biggest reason is the hype and expectations that sometimes exist with these "limited editon" prints.

As you are aware, your best prices and most interest will be generated in Owen Gromme's home state of Wisconsin. Having said that, these prints have not been holding value well over the past few years. Please email me directly with your contact information and I will put you in touch with a couple of retailers who deal with his work.

Regards,
