Q. What do I need to do to my Puzzle before I bring it in to be framed?
04/03/01
A. Puzzles are fun to put together and often make great art, framed simply or with matting for an even more dramatic presentation.

If you can lay the puzzle on a large, firm piece of corrugated cardboard for transport, this is all that is really necessary. We really DON'T want you to glue the puzzle with "Puzzle Adhesive". Typically nothing more than a diluted PVA adhesive, if brushed over the surface of the puzzle, this will "cloud" the image, and make it more difficult to frame............We would rather mount the puzzle to a substrate utilizing a dry mount adhesive on the backside of the puzzle. If you really think about it, your puzzle is nothing more than a very thick poster, that has been cut into many little pieces!
