Q. Water glass was suggested to be used in framing a wood duck cross stitch. The Frame shop was listed as source. Is it available? Thank you

A. Hello Ann,

Indeed we used a large sheet of "Water Glass" to frame Paula Minkebige's beautiful loon Cross-Stitch design many years ago. We have framed these over the years using the same matting treatment, although the original frame has been discontinued.

Paula may have shown the same technique on her Wood Duck Cross-Stitch design as well.

"Water Glass" is a double thick glass with a wavy surface and comes from the stained glass industry, so a larger stained glass retailer in your area could probably sell you a piece. Otherwise if you would like us to design something for you, please Email Me Directly and I will be glad to help.
