German Glass Ornaments - Nostalgie-Christbaumschmuck

Well over a hundred years ago in the small village of Lauscha in the middle of 
Germany the glass christmas tree decoration was born.  This precious art of 
glassblowing started from here its triumphal march all over the world.
Nostalgie-Christbaumschmuck are producing nostalgic glass ornaments today as they did 100 years ago with vintage moulds, patinaed finishes and iron caps.

Today this tradition continues as Nostalgie-Christbaumschmuck produces ornaments
from restored original old moulds.  They are then affectionately hand painted,
patinated and topped with stylish iron caps in the proper traditional style.

We have seen faces on fruit before, and not quite sure why, 
but fruit were an obvious first choice of subject for 
ornaments.  Precious and valued, they obviously grew on
