Wendt and Kuehn

Wendt und Kühn has become one of the Ore Mountain's most loved workshops, with their flower children and especially their angels with polka-dotted wings among the most recognized designs in German woodcarving. Their dedication to design and quality has not diminished in the 113 years of the company's history, and Wendt und Kuehn's methods of handcrafting the wooden figurines have altered little since Margarete Wendt founded her workshop in 1915.

Wendt and Kuehn
- Since 1915 is a family owned business that was founded and still operated in the Erzgebirge mountain village of Grunhainichen, Germany. We are happy to offer these charming W.u.K. figurines to our customers, and we share the words from their workshop: "We look forward to celebrating with you the innocence of childhood, the changing seasons of the year, and mostly, the family holidays
that mean so much." Our Erzgebirge Miniature folk art figures are sorted in three groups... Musical Angels by Ulbricht l Musical Angels by Wendt und Kühn Blumen Kinder by Blank, Ulbricht and Wendt und Kühn + Wood Shaved Trees & other Ore Mountain Folk Art
