Q. I would like to know the cost of framing a 39.5"x 14" photo- the frame would just need to be very simple, it is a picture of Lambeau Field and would appear in a Sports Room... please get back to me with your asking price! Thanks

A. Samantha,

Although the presentation would be clean and simply, there is some hidden complexity to this framing job. First the overall size being large means the frame must to strong enough to handle the glass.

Secondly, the glass should be raised above the surface of the photograph with acrylic spacing (It sounds like you would prefer to not increase the size with matting.)

Third, the image should be dry-mounted so that it does not ripple, and fourth, an additional support should be added to the back of the frame so that it does not pull appart.

An estimate with Nielsen profile 15 frame, glass, dry mounting, spacing and fitting would be about $196.00 for this job.

Please let us know if we can help. We could complete this framing order in about 1 week.
